At Woodbender we manufacture from solid Ash timber imported from North America. We use Ash specifically because it has favourable bending properties not found in many other types of wood. Another benefit of Ash is its naturally blonde hue, which enables it to take up a stain finish very well. We offer 10 different stain finishes and one of these is Natural Ash, which consists simply of a layer of lacquer applied straight onto the timber. The Natural Ash finish allows for the timber’s natural grain and colour to be celebrated.
