When the client approached Sphere to design a coffee space that would be both intimate, but also make a statement, designer Chelsey Hillier knew Catia’s had a lot of potential.
With the space being situated on a corner, she knew exposure would be high and she decided to bring a lot of texture into this project. She also opted for designing unique items, making the space feel fresh and sophisticated whilst still offering a sense of comfort and warmth.
For Chelsey, furniture not only needs to look good in a space, but also needs to be practical, durable, and comfortable. Furniture needs to speak to the space as it has the ability to bring a design together, which is why she approached Woodbender for dining chairs.
Our Vuti and Riga Chairs stood out as both comfortable and durable and she felt they elevated the overall design, creating a sense of elegance and simplicity within the space.
