Woodbender furniture is handcrafted and locally manufactured in South Africa. Our durable wooden furniture is made to order and personalised in your choice of fabric and timber finish. Our ash products are designed for indoor use only. Slight variations in dimensions may occur due to the nature of a handmade product. To keep up with new and exciting product innovations, Woodbender reserves the right to withdraw, modify or discontinue any products in the range at any time.

Our dining chairs fit a standard 750mm table height.

Kitchen stools fit a 900mm counter height.

Bar stools fit a 1100mm counter height.

Customised stool heights can be discussed. Please get in touch.

Slight variations in dimensions may occur due to the nature of a handmade product.

It will take approximately 8 to 12-weeks from receiving your order to arranging delivery.

All of our products are made out of sustainably sourced, European Ash.

We offer 3 finishes:

- Light Brown
- Dark Brown
- Black

Please also note that all products come branded with lining and labels unless requested otherwise.

Woodbender furniture is designed exclusively for indoor use. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and moisture.

Use a damp cloth to wipe down the wooden parts of your furniture.

Do not use any chemical-based cleaning products on the wood. This includes ammonia-based cleaning products and alcohol-based sanitizer.

Since we offer a wide selection of fabrics, and offer the option of custom fabrics, we are unable to supply a standardised instruction for cleaning. Please get in touch with us if you require advice with cleaning your fabric.

We offer a 6-year guarantee on any structural defects that occur during normal usage of our furniture.

In the unlikely event that you experience a problem with your order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Since all of our products are made-to-order according to your choice of timber finish and upholstery option, they are non-refundable.

Should there be a clear fault with your product, please get in touch with us as soon after delivery as possible.

How does international shipping work?

We offer worldwide shipping for all of our products. After placing an order, our team will assess the best shipping options available for your location. We will provide you with a detailed shipping quote that includes the following:

  1. Shipping Costs – Shipping fees are not included in the listed product prices. These costs vary depending on the size and weight of your order, as well as the destination country.
  2. Estimated Delivery Time – Shipping times differ based on location and shipping method. We aim to provide you with an estimated delivery window once your shipping quote is confirmed.
  3. Tracking Information – Once your order is shipped, you'll receive tracking details to monitor the progress of your delivery.

Are local taxes and duties included in the price?

No, prices listed on our website exclude any local taxes, import duties, or customs fees. These charges may be applicable based on your country's regulations and will be your responsibility to pay.

Here’s how taxes and duties work:

  • Customs Duties: These are levied by your country’s customs department and depend on the total value of your order.
  • VAT/GST: Some countries charge additional sales taxes (e.g., VAT or GST) on imported goods.

How will I be billed for shipping and local taxes?

After placing your order, we will send a separate quote for shipping, taxes, and duties. This will include a breakdown of all costs involved in delivering your order to your address. You can approve the costs and proceed with the payment, or cancel the order if the shipping and tax charges are not suitable for you.

Can I arrange my own shipping?

Yes, if you have preferred shipping carriers or forwarders, we’re happy to work with them. Simply let us know your preferred method, and we will coordinate with them to arrange the shipping of your order.
